I’m just your average everyday woman with too many thoughts banging around in her head. I’m usually focused on: books, art and arranging my thoughts so they can be deciphered. I love to write essays studying the effects of racism and tying them into book recommendations; I want to introduce the wonderful world of literature to every day events and how books tie into the “political” climate.
Reading is a privilege and not a strictly protected right; this is a call to start sharpening your literacy skills, with my help of course. Let’s deep dive into the wider world implications of the literature we are reading and learn to apply them into our small sphere of influence (local community, friend groups, online groups etc). You should be reading to comprehend not to just stare at words.
I started out my book reviews, recommendations and writing updates on my ‘business’ Instagram (bunniisbookrecs) and thought it would be fun to expand on some of my posts with lengthier updates and reviews. Being able to show case my writing process, reading moods and organization is something I’ve wanted to do. I want to show that you don’t need to follow a specific pattern, idea or template to achieve your goals; just fun and your inner child.
If I’m not reading or writing find me out in nature with my dog hiking, backpacking or soaking up beautiful weather while unleashing my wanderlust. I’m also a major foodie with a serious sweet tooth.
